I take back what I said in tenth-grade chemistry: I don’t hate science.
I hate chemistry class and the feeling of being so far behind I’d never catch up and the pages and pages of equations.
But not science. Science is really cool.
So it is with a respectful nod to science that I present to you my experience making geodes.
Quick idea: Particularly after senior year, but all through high school, there are a lot of graduation parties. For friends, best friends, sort-of friends, family friends. And when you are also a high school kid or also graduating, the idea of graduation gifts for all those different degrees of friends is daunting, since the standard is a check.
I’m well aware that plastic flower crowns are “inauthentic,” that they’re a summer 2015 hipster trend, that the authenticity, and that some people can’t stand them.
